Fifteen students who finished their elementary schooling at Headway School for Giftedness (HSG) held their graduation ceremony last March 27, 2009 at the Asian Theological Seminary in Quezon City.

Manoling de Leon, founder of Pinoy Pilgrim Global Foundation Inc. (PPGFI) and author of “Pinoy Pilgrim: In Search of Filipino Identity”, was the event’s inspirational speaker.  In his humorous talk enjoyed by the graduates, their parents and guests, De Leon stressed that life is a precious gift and must be used well, having a sense of humor helps us enjoy life, and loving our parents is our secret to success and happiness.

After the speech, Headway students showed their wide array of talents as a tribute to the graduates.  Among those who enjoyed the poetry reading, drama, songs, and dances were top Headway officials Prof. Florinda Lesaca, Ms. Maria Luz Estudillo, and Mr. and Mrs. Joel Yuviengco, and DepEd officials led by Ms. Leticia Ardiente.

De Leon’s Pinoy Pilgrim Foundation is an avid supporter of Headway School.
